I have an odd obsession with photoshop makeovers. These are some of my favs, I think the big girl one has already been posted....but here it is again!

Ok, so I've been blasting The Slip in my (clean!) car all day, and I like it. It's a shorter album than Year Zero at 10 songs (9 and an intro really), but it doesn't feel incomplete. There's both heavy hitting noise rock fun and classic Trent-and-a-piano somber.

I'd never really think that Robyn(in her current state) would be on the view... but she was. And I'm proud. She didn't tone down the crazy.

If you haven't listened to her cd, you have no excuse now. It's out in the U.S. Give it a chance if you haven't. It's really good.

I thought I had posted about piclens, but I apparently didn't. I found it the other day when I was just browsing around in firefox extensions. It's this neat plugin that turns certain sites into pretty slideshows. You can install it here(or at the applicable OS/browser page.. they have it for just about everything). Once it's installed and you've restarted firefox, go to ... flickr, for example. Hover over a picture, and click the play button that appears over the picture. Check the video below for what it looks like. And the best part is that it's REALLY fast. My laptop doesn't have nearly enough memory for the multitasking I do, and it still runs beautifully. And it's also pretty useful b/c you can search youtube, deviant art, flickr, etc from inside the full screen window. And the results are MUCH more useful than the way the websites lay them out. Try it out. *thumbs up*



So David and I watched the American Idol results show last night(yes.. a day late). And the most notable thing of the night was not what you'd think. We already knew who was going to get cut off. We knew that Simon was making a face at Fantasia. We knew that all of the contestants cried when they went to their hometowns. What we didn't know was that one of Fantasia's backup dancers has ASS FOR DAYS. Normal chest, thin woman, thin/cute legs BADAMN BIG ASS. Even david was a little turned on.

This trend of using "u" instead of "you" and "ur" instead of "your" or "you're" in song titles needs to fucking stop. You're trying to sell a professional album. Take the time to type the extra goddamn letters.
