Well the first day of class on Monday was busy.... 8am Marketing class, then to the Health Center to have my sprained foot looked at.. They took 6 X-rays of my foot, and nothing appears to be broken, but it's a severe sprain. So I'm on crutches for a few days now. Which with "first impressions" and all, just makes life frustrating. But after that it was home for a brief nap, then off to the College of Management again for 2 afternoon classes. I was very tired, pretty grump, and generally in a good bit of pain. But I met up with Ob anyhow up at Rocky Mountain for some food and beer. Why not? That was Monday. Today, Tuesday, was better. The foot is healing, and was bad but not AS bad. Still requires crutches to get around, and gets generally painful even when there's no weight on it. As for the classes, I've been to all at least once now. It's a mixed bag so far. Some I like, some I don't and some I'm indifferent. But regardless, I need to commit to my schedule by no later than the end of the week. So, there's a little pressure. There was a PA event today. A cookout for the new freshman and transfers. It was mostly old peeps, but some new people came by. The rain dampened things at first, and kept us inside, but eventually the skies cleared and made for some fun socializing. Beyond that, I (along with everyone else around me) am trying to establish some sort of routine and try and get down to business. I want to start working out once the foot heals, and of course, there is the job factor as well. Pressure! Current Mood: calm
