ACC's Doo-Dad - April 5th, 2003
A look into the life of Adam Caskey
Accounting Exams?
I'm sitting in the computer lab in Library South on campus... On a Saturday!!!... MORNING!!! I've already taken one of my TWO accounting exams today. The first was at 8am, and I think I did okay on that. It was more of an accounting related case study done in Excel. The larger scantron/written test is in about an hour at 12:30.

I didn't get the time I wanted to study for it fully this week. Usually I would start studying for my accounting exam on Wednesday night or so... but this week has been brutal hell at work. I was able to get some studying in last night though, and I've been upstairs in a quiet little cubby hole in the library for a while studying. My brain has absorbed about as much as it is going to I believe. I feel more prepared than I probably should feel after not getting in the time I wanted to spend studying and going over the homework. We'll see though.

I hate these Saturday exams because they play games with my whole weekend. I waste away a perfectly good Friday night either studying or going to bed early, or BOTH! But oh well... If I can just get through this semester with at least a C I won't have to deal with it again.

Plans for later tonight are still unfirm, but hopefully Michael and I will hang and I will get a chance to blow off some much built up steam. I'm sure some beverages and XBox might be involved.

The war in Iraq seems to be going on steadily. I've been glued like most everyone else to CNN and the like. Keeping tabs on the latest goings ons. Apparently we've taken over the airport in Bahgdad and now we've moved into the city. I would like to see a quick end to the conflict. But despite the disagreement of some, I think we're doing the right thing. I just hope it can be resolved quickly and without a great deal of long term issues. Time will tell.
