Well here's the latest...

I finally talked to Nationwide (my insurance company) today and they are going to send out an adjuster to take a look at the car and determine if it will be fixed (which I don't see happening) or declared a total loss. After that, it's up to the 2 insurance companies to decide who pays what. I think that the person who hit me's insurance company will likely foot all or a majority of the bill, and I hope will not try to weasel out of it with lame arguments of fault. I think Nationwide's adjuster should have an answer within the next day or so. No rental car for now. I apparently do not have that level of coverage on my insurance policy, and until the other person's insurance company accepts fault (hopefully soon), then I can't really get them to provide one. So it's MARTA for now.

Aside from that, today has been busy. It's the first day back to work after last week's vacation. It was nice to be out of town, but it sucks that I feel as if a great deal of my vacation was robbed away from me over this whole car accident mess. If I wasn't so damn broke, I'd sneak off to Miami for a little bit.
